RESYNC – AI SHORT FILM CONTEST SUBMISSION

RESYNC is an experimental AI short film created for the Higgsfield Global Film Festival. The film explores overstimulation, disconnection and the search for your own rhythm in a world that constantly demands attention.

The story follows a young woman through the noise of everyday life — from waking up, commuting and doomscrolling to the moment she disconnects and enters a club space where sound, movement and presence slowly replace the pressure of the outside world.

The project was developed as a cinematic AI production, combining concept development, visual direction, prompt-based filmmaking, music design and editing. The goal was to create a short emotional journey that contrasts the overwhelming rhythm of daily life with the liberating energy of underground club culture.

The visual language moves between cold, overstimulated city moments and warm, intense club scenes — using close-ups, atmospheric lighting, sound-driven pacing and minimal storytelling to create a sense of release. As a festival project, RESYNC also served as a creative test of how AI tools can be used within a complete filmmaking workflow, from initial idea to final edit.

A short film about disconnecting from the noise — and reconnecting with yourself.
